After graduating from Queensland University in 1988, LouiseTreston worked around the UK and America as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist, something she counts as invaluable experience. She then returned to Geelong in 1995 and has continued to work in private practice.

Louise has tremendous experience in treating patients with musculoskeletal disorders. An expert in treating spinal pain and sports injuries, she is trained in various methods of treatment including McKenzie, Muscle Energy techniques and exercise based programs.

Louise is qualified in Trigger Point Dry Needling and has a special interest in pilates, supervising individual and group mat classes at South Barwon Medical

Rebates and Fees
Clients who have a Care Plan from their GP can claim $52.95 of the fee from Medicare.

How do I get a Medicare referral?
Under Medicare, GPs are responsible for managing the services offered to clients. If you are suffering from a Chronic Disease and your GP will create a care plan for you. This typically allows you a Medicare rebate for up to five sessions in any calendar year.

Do I need a Medicare referral?
Physiotherapy sessions are available to clients without a Care Plan or should you wish to extend your care beyond your Care plan. All you have to do is make an appointment. Rebates may be claimed from private health ancillary insurance, depending on your policy.
